People need to start buying organic food fast. That movie really opens your eyes to how fu*ked up the meat we are eating is.
How informative. Care to elaborate?
I'll get to that after I finish my Big Mac.
1. You can swear on Facepunch, no one cares and censoring yourself makes you look stupid. 2. I'd rather die than never eat meat again.
You could just as well kill your mother, it has the same effect on the country.
What. This movie sounds like some garbage PETA would churn out.
actually, Food Inc. is a very informative movie. but OP sucks at making OPs. it talks about how organic food is better than processed food, how sugar is healthier than High Fructose Corn Syrup, how factory-processed meat is worse than free-range meat, and other things. there was this one free-range farmer who was probably the most knowledgeable and likable guy they interviewed. I highly recommend that everyone sees it.
Using gay robot gifs makes you look stupid
It's not a robot. [editline]08:16PM[/editline] It's a space zombie.
Using gay robot gifs makes you look stupid
it's a necromorph, who's stupid now. Also I'm not giving up Mickey d's or rally's for no one. NO ONE.
I enjoy documentaries on Food topics. Like Super Size me. But they dont change the way I eat. I eat what I like to eat. If I wanna shove pizza in my face then I shall.

Seriously, watch this. It probably will change the way you eat [editline]03:21AM[/editline] Even for the above 2

Saw this movie long ago, wasn't surprised.
Using gay robot gifs makes you look stupid
Please elaborate on how his avatar is "gay".
-snip- Never mind, I had the title wrong and I've even read the book before.
Seriously, watch this. It probably will change the way you eat [editline]03:21AM[/editline] Even for the above 2
then why watch it
I totally agree with that 2nd quote. I don't look at my dinner the same anymore. I try and eat food that was prepared normally. I watched this in Health Class. I still eat meat but I NEVER buy from Tyson again. that is sick and cruel. Its different than making people turn veggie. its more about how fucked up our food industry is. You should see what they do to cows stomachs... Thats a chicken. [editline]05:12PM[/editline] This lady was on a contract with Tyson to produce chickens. This is the most humane way she could still make a living but not the most efficient. so they terminated her contract because she wouldn't upgrade to the kind of Farm Houses you see in the movie Babe when hes taken away from his mother. This is a good guy. He grows his food naturally and sells it naturally... but for a higher price because lack of efficient production. This is what is in your freezer Also, did you know, that the reason your meat you buy from the stores isnt naturally red. You think thats blood? no, its red food coloring. Its put in there to make it look more appetizing since from the instant the cow is butchered, it turns brown or grey which doesn't necessarily mean its bad if its brown or grey. This family is overweight and poor. You would think rich people would be overweight right? Like in the old days WAY LONG TIME AGO? Nope... Fast food is actually cheaper than if you were to buy the ingrediants yourself! Thats why these people are overweight. They WANT to eat healthy but they HAVE to go to fast food places because its cheaper than REAL food. Also! Organic just means it contains carbon. I'll eat my paper because it has carbon in it. I'll eat my socks because its organic. Hell, Plastic is organic!
I'll be back then Im going to buy some plastic cups for my lunch.
Actually, buying decent ingredients for your self is cheaper then spending 20$+ for a family of three or four at McDonald's or something, the biggest problem is what you find appetising and how good of a cook you are. basically if you come home from working overtime for 14 hours to your obese wife bitching and two crazy kids whacked out on caffeine, you don't want to fucking cook.

The one of the left, dat's one sleek and sexy chicken. Disclaimer: Contrary to the above statement, Mr. Someguy™ does that fornicate with chickens and does not find them sexually attractive in any way.
Not all chickens grow at the same rate/are the same size, and even if they are mutated to grow I don't care. They are still damn tasty.
ok so? it's fucking food, it goes into your stomach and it tastes fine
Buying fast food individually makes it more expensive than buying the ingredients in bulk. The main differences are convenience and nutrient content, and the more nutrients tend to be more expensive.
I watched this with a few friends, we were so unphased we thought it'd be funny to grab a burger after and it was.
Saw this in class, didn't change my habits. It is very informative though.
I rather enjoyed the film after it was shown at my college, and several people who were interviewed came to speak to the students. I found the film, although not too surprising since I'm a commoner on conspiracy forums, revealing and showing the majority who watched it about how companies are monopolizing our food. Changing it and warping it with science for cheaper and faster production at a cost of making it less-healthy. In personal spurring from the film; My family has recently started volunteering at an organic farm, where we get all the free veggies we need, really. Same goes for eggs. In connection to this, we're also welcomed into discounts at the farmer's market. I will tell you what. That over-processed opossum flesh at McDonalds can't hold a candle to fresh beef. We've also cut out things such as sodas and other drinks with high fructose corn syrup in them. Finding out now whenever I try to drink them, my body pretty well goes into an ill mode and tries to disperse it. Rate me boxes for wanting to eat healthy.
At the end of the day, people will do anything to get "Soylent Green", no matter the taste, health condition, or movies made about it.
Food Inc. was a goddamn terrible documentary. I mean don't get me wrong, the premise was excellent and I strongly support their cause, but the points they delivered were hypocritical and inspired no emotion from me whatsoever. Super Size Me was a much better documentary against the state of our current food industry.
