roguelike means nothing nowadays.
And now there's "roguelike-like"?

The word has since switched meaning, spacing from dungeon-crawler (rogue-like) to 'die once, start over in a randomly generated environment', to rogue-like.. -like, as in dungeon-crawler with a twist
The term is stupid, but consumers are aware of its meaning and has then become an industry standard.

Interestingly enough the term 'dungeon crawler' is being used less and less, ever since 'roguelike' became a popular term.
ie- if we were to call FPS 'doomlike', Fallout3 would be a 'doomlike like' :v:
