A long time ago my friend gave me a Windows Server 2003 Disc complete with original CD-Key and all because he didn't need it anymore.
Recently my friend's dad's work replaced their servers and were throwing out their old one. So I took it.
Turns out the Windows Server disc is too scratched up to even be read anymore. So I tried downloading .ISOs and burning them onto a DVD. Come to find out Server 2003 can only go on CDs, which I do not have. But the .ISOs only total up to about 1.5GBs. I have a 2GB flash drive.
I tried making it bootable, but it didn't work.
I just need a tutorial on how to make Windows Server 2003 bootable on a flash drive so that I can install it using the original CD-key.
Thanks in advance!
Aren't CD-R's REALLY cheap?

I'm not rich.
I went to buy some CD-Rs and DVDs.
I found two packs of CD-Rs and DVDs each with 10 CDs for $15.
I went to the front counter to pay and they had 50 packs of DVDs on sale for $10 even.
From then on it was a no-brainer.
I'm just trying to save myself some money.
Perhaps you should tell us what you tried to do to make it bootable in the first place, so no one tries to tell you to do that.
Sorry, should have mentioned that.
I used HP USB Disk format tool to make a flash drive bootable (which didn't work.)
I used some random tutorial online, which I can't seem to find right now.
Then once I put the boot up files on it by creating a DOS startup disk using these files that the tutorial told me to download.
I put my .CCDs on there and put it into the server and it wouldn't boot off it.

Uhh are you serious??
CD-Rs and DVD-Rs are ridiculously cheap now. I have even seen them on sale in a dollar store a few blocks away from here, where they are $1 for a single disk with a jewel case, and is memorex branded.
Go to dollar store and get 5 for $1.13 cad.

Yeah, I'm serious.
I have $200 to last me the next 3 months, after that's gone I have absolutely nothing.
You guys would understand if you were in my position right now.
Can't someone just please answer my question? I know it's possible.
Server 2003 can be burned and installed from DVD. What are you using to burn the .ISO files and did you make sure your DVD drive is set to first boot device?

Yeah, I had the USB as the first boot device.
I'm using Toast Titanium on my mom's MacBook to burn the DVD.
I'll just try it on a DVD now.
