I'm really interested in growing salvia and harvesting it or something to where it is useable to smoke. Where would I get seeds or what it grows from, and any other information would be awesome. And yes, I've Googled it already, but I just want FP's advice on this. Has anyone here grown it? If so, pictures?

i'm pretty sure salvia takes a few years to grow, it's not worth it

Lol I think you'd need to grow quite a fucking bit for it to be worth smoking. If im right, the plant aint very potent, thats why you have the different strengths 10x, 20x etc, so you'd need to grow a shit load and then somehow compress it or burn your lungs away smoking it all.

You certainly wont grow it from seed,because thats nearly impossible.Get a cutting.And,it doesnt take years to grow,it grows amazingly fast.I have my plants not even a month,and they will already need repotting.
Let the professionals handle it. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure its called "Salvia extract" because it is processed and concentrated by people with extensive botanical knowledge. As stated previously, devote your efforts elsewhere.
The extracts are very easy to make.Check [url]www.sagewisdom.org[/url] for anything salvia related.I can recommend growing because its easy and very rewarding.
you can buy live salvia plants for pretty cheap online.
you would need to simply dry the leaves and smoke them
but this will not be as potent as the extracts that most people smoke

hmm yes putting a seed into the soil and waiting a bit sure is impossible. And yes it does take ages to grow salvia big enough to get any use from it what are you talking about.

Your leaves have browning on them. Are you making sure they've got plenty of sun and nitrogen? Try miracle grow if it gets any worse / progresses. Or any other nitrogen containing plant growth solution.

I accidentaly posted old pics,the browning is the guys who sold the plants to me fault,i got rid of the leaves.

My spacebar hardly works anymore.And salvia can be cloned very fast,and i now have 3 plants ,and if i clone them ill have six plant and then i will have more leaves then ill need.
