Emergency service workers clad in HAZMAT suits knocked down a wall at a Michigan apartment to rescue an obese woman who was covered in waste and bugs.
The woman, who weighs between 220 to 320 kilograms, was rescued after her 41-year-old husband called emergency services requesting medical attention for his wife, WXYZ.com reports
The woman was found lying in her own waste and was covered in bed sores, creating a hazardous environment for local police.
She had broken her hip several years ago.
Child Protective Services were also called to check on her two toddlers and two school-age children.
They have since been placed in the custody of a nearby relative.
Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green said he would speak to the local prosecutor's office to determine if criminal charges will be filed.
Neighbour Katy Thamert, 80, said she had spoken to the husband on occasion, but had never seen the woman.
"He's a heck of a nice guy," she said.
"They're wonderful neighbours."
"Help! I've fallen and I can't get u-oooh who left this cheeseburger down here?"
Holy fuck.
I feel awful for laughing.
My goodness that's impressive
good on the husband for enduring that mass of existence
I could have sworn Jabba actually eats Frogs and Insects
What a misleading Title!
[sp]I'm sorry[/sp]
Holy shit, they actually needed hazmat suits to get her out of there?
Does this mean Honey Boo Boo is cancelled???

So many questions left unanswered.
[sp]And, quite frankly, I'd like to keep it that way.[/sp]
It's weird but theres probably more than one case of this
Something I want to see is an xray of someone hugely obese, I wanna see how their skeletal system holds together with all that fat

This is something I've always wondered myself. Please, someone do it. For science.

What I want to know is when they say "bugs" do they mean like, bed bugs or are we talking some big motherfuckers here?

On second thoughts I think it might be better that they don't describe what kind.
I'm genuinely not sorry for people like these.

Kablam.
It looks like they put a skeleton into a sleeping bag then filled the bag with depression and marshmallows.
Broke hip several years ago...laying in her own waste...has two toddlers...
Her husband was banging her on a waterbed made of squishy, sweaty liquidy poop. Those poor kids were born into a crappy world, in more ways than one.
Happy Halloween!
Look, I'll admit I'm lazy. I'll admit I enjoy eating. I'll admit I weigh 270 lbs (122 kilos).
But there is absolutely no way in this universe I would ever allow myself to become like this woman.
Damn. Those must've been some seriously old leftovers.

I feel sorry for the police that had to transport her out of there it must've been disgusting.
This is a pretty fucked up story.

That's seriously horrifying, you have to wonder the mindset of people like this, where they've just absolutely given up. What does the brain do to itself when the body has just entered this horrifyingly dilapidated state?
Jesus.
It's not even like it's very hard to lose weight at all. When your weight starts affecting your ability to perform everyday tasks you should be responsible enough to realise you have to change your lifestyle.
