Elephant polo is a variant of polo, usually played while riding elephants (there have been made attempts to play elephant polo without the elephants, but it just wasn't the same). There are also sticks involved, but if they're used to hit the ball or other humans/elephants is unknown. Recent scientific research has shown that it is mainly used to hit the ball, but we simply do not know enough about it to make a definitive conclusion. Some people argue that rules are important, but I disagree. Several different kinds of sports has shown to be very successful without having any clear rules (For example: American football, pool and cricket(1)) The real stars of elephant polo are without a doubt the elephants. The human riders have proven to be very unnecessary and surprisingly boring. Here are some pictures of elephants: Gay elephant (1) See: Sports I don't know the rules for.

How much does an elephant cost and where can I play it in the US?
Elephants made for elephant polo are usually manufactured in China and cost from $1.200 to $865.000 depending on the model. You can buy them at most Walmart's, although some smaller stores only have them in stock during the holiday season.
