If you're going to use hacks online, why would you waste it by griefing others? That's what everyone without hacks is doing in the first place. If I was hacking online I would get someone else's attention and then kill myself in a hilarious fashion.

As funny as I think this is stuff like this really pissed off a friend of mine. He's pretty old and he's seen a lot of shit (he was legit in vietnam). I contributed a lot of good hardware to him so he could actually have a good gaming PC and set it all up for him, and on game nights with our other friends we play GTAV.
He came in one morning absolutely fucking furious over this. I've seen this guy enter full combat mode because of PTSD and even that did not match the pure rage and fury I heard in his voice and saw in his eyes about hackers in GTAV.

People have expectations when they spend lots of money on a game.
Experiencing something like hackers deliberately trying to piss you off (ruining your experience and insulting you) is bound to get many people mad.

well he's not even doing anything incredibly malicious in this vid, and it's all for comedic effect (attaching himself to other players and kicking people out of vehicles constantly is hilarious). since people are also mentioning dark souls, i want to just show another example.

you'd be surprised, the forums have really changed. Things that would have gotten a hundred funnies back in the day would be bombarded with dumbs now. The FP community is so small and made of so many of the same members that it literally grew up.
