• What's a Good 30-80 Dollar Headphone Set?

Hi, my $70 (although, I also found the same set for $30) pair of headphones that I have taped up and wire-nutted keep giving me problems. My preference would be something with a curled cord and good bass. I was going to just order some on Amazon, but I figured I'd consult with some sound geeks first.
If you're fine with in-ear, I can highly recommend the Phillips TX2, or Philips Fidelio S2 for even better quality. Both are pretty good, but the TX2, while pretty good at the price, is a budget in-ear headphone set. Both come with the dual driver technology, and both have built in microphone and so on. They're also very good at not getting tangled like fuck, and untangle themselves easily when it happens. The former comes with 3 pairs of rubber pods, and the latter comes with 5 sets of rubber pods, and 2 sets of foam. [editline]28th January 2015[/editline] I'd like to add that in spite of the Fidelio S2 being a better overall sound, the TX2 does have some improved noise cancellation, compared to the S2. Likely due to the TX2 being a newer (although cheaper) model.
Koss PRODJ100 should have posted in the headphone thread though

audio technica m30x /m40x if you want to spend a little more
Even though i'm using some good sennheisers right now, the sony mdr v55 is my first headphone and i'll always love it. The base is amazing, and the mid and high tones are great. The audio cable is flat so it won't tangle at all. And it is a really good looking headphone too. I don't think there are a lot of headphones as good as this one for only 55 dollars. I still use it every day when i'm travelling to school, and after three years of service they still are in perfect shape.
