Gunman rampages through St. Louis factory. Kills 3, injures 5.

He said workers had sought safety on the roof, in boiler rooms and in broom closets.

"It's a very large complex and it's connected to an even larger complex, so it's a very slow and methodical process and it will take several hours," he said.

ABB spokesman Bob Fesmire could not confirm reports that the gunman was a former employee.

"We can confirm that there was a shooting, but the information is still unclear," he told AFP news agency.

He said there may have been fewer workers at the plant on Thursday due to a blizzard and temperatures plunging to -11C (12F).

The factory is part of Swiss-based ABB engineering and makes power transformers.[/quote]

My father is one of the Vice-President's at ABB for a certain department. He travels all over the united states, he does financial stuff. He knew about the guy suing ABB before he even did anything. When I got home today, I saw that the guy shot up St. Louis's factory, and I freaked the fuck out. I had to call my dad to see if he was okay. Not that great of a week for me, especially my friend dying tuesday night.
