Well it would just make more sense to port the whole game over than just Forge and Custom games.
I've got a feeling that 5's sales (Something like 3/4 Million sold right now?) has made Microsoft play their hand.

ODST had the greatest campaign, same with reach.
Reach is the only halo game i beaten on legendary alone. fuck me having 97% of the elites being officers or higher that adsorb 4 fucking spartan laser shots was like glass being shoved up your ass.

that's fine by me, from what i've heard the only redeeming feature of H5 is forge mode which we're getting anyway.

The MP is apparently really good and from what I hear the campaign is at least fun to play through with friends even if the story is ass.

If I had to choose 1 it'd be Reach. It's not the best for halo fans from what I've heard but I'd argue it's a great game using the halo universe and I loved all the characters, modes, and cosmetics, I have 0 complaints about reach.

They should've done it when they made combat evolved HD or the MCC, they knew that they'd make a killing and tried to sell consoles anyway. Either would've been the perfect welcome gift to PC gaming.

There's no matchmaking though, just forge and custom games with friends only.

Aside from the fact custom games is the best part about halo yo.
It's not just Forge mode. You're getting custom games as well.

The MP is only better then Halo 4's which is why it gets praise. The people who say it's as good as Halo 2's MP either never played Halo 2 or are trying to sell you something.
I think it's pretty clear that we'll never get Halo 5 at this point :x
Man, playing the Bungie made Halo games in 60FPS+ (some of them are only 30) and with online co-op would be an instant buy for me. I wouldn't even care much if the framerate was locked at 60 and the options were lacking.

The multiplayer is really well done. I've played all of them and I haven't put this much time into Halo multiplayer since 3.
Campaign is complete ass though. The story is terrible and it's so boring I almost couldn't finish it.

I mean shit I binged Serious Sam 3 and finished it in one go no breaks with a friend and the excessively shitty boring story of that didn't stop me because the gameplay was still fun.
