Apple has improvements on the ipod every few years and slowly it is getting more and more advanced.
So far, the newest is the Ipad, but whats next?
Every year it becomes more like a computer, then eventually, it will just become another mac!
I mean think about it, Ipod played music, then pictures, then videos, the surfed the web, then got a touch screen, then got a bigger touch screen with netbook capabilities.
Then apple will realize what a mangled failure the ipod will begin to take shape of. Then they will probably fail or continue improving on the ipod touch, adding software rather than hardware.

hardware will become nano-sized, an i7 will be 1/8192 of an iphone cpu in the year 2030, it will be on the .000001nm

I want an iPod touch with ALL the features of the iPhone, with the exception of making phone calls. I'm tired of Touch users getting screwed out of Bluetooth and camera support.
Only the iPod touch 1G lacks Bluetooth. The other generations have Bluetooth.
I don't get why anyone would buy an iPhone or iPod, sure they are easy to use and look nice, but they're just expensive. You literally pay more for the advertisements, than for the actual product itself.

I bought a iPod Classic 80gb 3 years ago. Still works fantastic. Probably the only Apple product I will buy.
Why get an iPod? Why not just use a modern cell phone?
Apple products have made no strides in advancement since the 1990's. The price tag just gets more expensive every year.

Other than iPhone/pod, they have done a brilliant job in luring the idiots into buying their products.
