When you are installing a wireless adapter and it says "Please connect to the internet to download the latest drivers"
when im working in my case(when its on) I always manage to stick my fingers into the 230mm fans [editline]05:49AM[/editline] always gives me a nice sting
When my computer decides to shut everything down to give it a few upgrades when I'm in the middle of something
Whenever I open up CPUID's HWmonitor, and I look at my temps. I'm so anal about my temps being too high, even though it really isn't too big of a deal, because they aren't that high in retrospect.
never mind, didn't notice the section :v:
Using a computer with integrated graphics makes me rage. They are maybe slightly better than a high end GPU 5 years ago....
• When something doesn't do as it should. • When things aren't clearly labeled what they do. • Installers that have bundled shit. • Installers that don't let you change the path. • Programs that work only in a specific path. • Programs that place crap in appdata/registry when they don't have to. • Programs that are slow as fuck. • Click didn't register. • Have a multi-mon setup and can't snap cursor to corner to close/start menu (apple menu, etc) • Element hover animation too quick (menus for example) so if you lose focus for 1 second subelements (submenus go away). • When my hands aren't aligned to the keyboard and I start spelling everything with the letter next to what I meant to type. • When a programs opens in the foreground while I'm typing causing me to stop typing where I was. • Programs that launch behind other windows. (GIMP has a goddamn hard time getting that to work) • When a program crashes and I can't click the close button on the dialog due to that program being a fullscreen game. Have to alt-tab to click close.
Using a computer with integrated graphics makes me rage. They are maybe slightly better than a high end GPU 5 years ago....
doubt any IGP today is faster than a 7800 GTX or any other top card from 2005.
When my computer decides to fuck up at the worst time.
When I click on something and am waiting for it to open but apparently I didn't click it.

Not to protect against static electricity, just to keep my hands safe :ohdear:
when I open my computer (when it's off) to clean it and when I reboot its says "Fan 2 in unplugged". I never understood what that meant. Only happens once after I'm done cleaning though.
When the wireless adapter isn't supported by win7 and you waste a day trying to fix it.
When the computers decided to do things without my fucking permission.
When the computers decided to do things without my fucking permission.
this too
• Element hover animation too quick (menus for example) so if you lose focus for 1 second subelements (submenus go away).
Serious pet peeve of mine, right here. Oh, and RAM sticks suddenly deciding to die when you're focused on fixing something completely unrelated.
When i find out 6 year old games don't work on my laptop because of the fucking retarded graphics chip (SiS Mirage 3 (Can't get a graphics card in it doesn't have a slot) :saddowns:)
When people don't fucking google something before asking me and wasting my time.
When people don't fucking google something before asking me and wasting my time.
the irony
* cosmic duck DDT'd What's the Mobility 4650 like? from Hardware and Software with reason “Use google next time to find simple reviews.” * cosmic duck banned Split3ndz for 1 Day in What's the Mobility 4650 like? with the reason “Use google next time to find simple reviews.”
Creative that can't even release proper drivers. The Official drivers wouldn't even install and even worse it leaves the drivers in a broken state which leaves me to do the cleanup. Had to download Daniel_K's custom driver pack to just get the sound working in Windows 7. Windows 7 bitching on me that it can't connect to a network drive every time i boot up. Games like Bioshock 2 that doesn't even have an Anti Aliasing option. But you can still force it with ATI Tray Tools, but still it's pretty silly.
• Installers that have bundled shit.
This^ Why the hell would i want to install Ask toolbar?:bang:
When you are installing a wireless adapter and it says "Please connect to the internet to download the latest drivers"
I had that with a wired ethernet card for a computer (motherboard ethernet was broken), bloody included drivers didn't support anything past XP. When cases have sharp edges and by the end of building it you have shredded hands.
I hate long boot times.... Why can my netbook boot in ~30 seconds and yet my quad core desktop boots in about twice that time.
When things that should work don't. So basically computers in general.
Whenever I install a new piece of hardware - something HAS to go wrong Be it: incompatible fan, too weak PSU, general mobo failure, lack of proper connectors in the PSU
windows vista
That fucking stripe bug
When you install Windows 7 but needed a MOTHERBOARD BIOS update but the installer told you everything was fine... can you say "reformat"? When you buy a Coolermaster huge ass fan and it barley fits in your case. and the small little AVC fan that broke was quieter AND cooled my computer more. when my Coolermaster Fan starts to make clanging noises because its either touching wires (idk havent checked) or being gay because i left it on too long
on 5770 AMD released a hotfix for 5800 series but not for 5700 this was supposed to automerge
Serious pet peeve of mine, right here. Oh, and RAM sticks suddenly deciding to die when you're focused on fixing something completely unrelated.
That happened to me, I was changing out a GPU, and booted up, I noticed it was 2GB total ram instead of 6GB. My 2x4GB Kit (I got it for free) just died out of the blue. :argh:
