okayokay, I'm planning on buying a HAF 932 and get my computer water cooled. So I was wondering, first off, is it compatible with my Gigabyte X56 Ultra Durable 3? Second, What cooler and coolant should I get if I do this? Third, will I have to do any cutting in the HAF 932 to get water cooling?
First of all, if you want watercooling, dont get a HAF932, that case is made for air-cooling.... Tell me your budget This is the killer-case for Watercooling: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811118025 It comes with a extreme high quality watercooling system managed via software.
$1200... :V This is just case and watercooling, I obviously already got the rest. Also I want a good looking case too :V And I'm pretty much hooked to this case because of the price and sexyness, and maybe I'll stick to air cooling then. Oh and, how hard is it to move the motherboard over?
Its not really hard..... Just take it out carefully and dont forget the things that make some space between the motherboard and the case.. Tell me how much $ you can spend on case + watercooling only. Without counting the rest
to move it over you'd have to put new holes for standoffs in, not just take it out...
to move it over you'd have to put new holes for standoffs in, not just take it out...
wait a second, does this mean I have to do cutting? if so then I'm out. also is it in the case or mobo? Andmonkeyboy, I already have the computer, but the case sucks ass. So 1200 dollars is what I have.
okay EDIT for stupidness + getting sniped while editing
I have 1200 dollars which I have no use of, and I'm not missing anything at the moment. And I'm sticking with the HAF 932 anyway.
Are you going to be doing any overclocking?
Are you going to be doing any overclocking?
Depends on how high my temperatures will go then :V
dont get a HAF932, that case is made for air-cooling....
what? made for water cooling. and and on the "top" of the back. Made for watercooling. What are you talking about? By the way. Get the HAF 932. I have it and I love it.
First of all, if you want watercooling, dont get a HAF932, that case is made for air
If you ever owned a HAF 932 you'd know how stupid you sound. [editline]03:42PM[/editline] I own it too, I love it.
So anyway from what you guys are saying, I should get it, but I'm still wondering what cooling system and coolant I should use.
If you're not going to watercooling. Don't be stupid and just get the HAF 932. With $1200 you can get a case way better than the HAF 932.
So anyway from what you guys are saying, I should get it, but I'm still wondering what cooling system and coolant I should use.
What do you want water-cooled?? (IE: Cpu, Gfx, motherboard, ect.) danish sites selling decent water-cooling equipment http://www.coolerkit.dk http://www.vcore.dk

What do you plan to cool.
Well, HAF stands for High Air Flow so I can see the confusion there.
Well, HAF stands for High Air Flow so I can see the confusion there.
:o not really, if it has ports/holes whatever, then I think that's a hint Its good for watercooling, too.
get a haf then see your temps, then decide if you should go water or not. most of the time water isn't worth it
Here is some good liquid cooling equipment: http://www.dangerden.com/store/
Water cooling seems complicated actually, maybe I'll just stick to air cooling, but I'm still wondering how hard an dhow long it will take to move everything from one case to the other.
1200 you could go like sub zero phase change lawl.
it will take like an hour if your pretty new to computers, less time if you know everything your doing
it will take like an hour if your pretty new to computers, less time if you know everything your doing
ah, I was thinking a five hour job :downs:
Water cooling seems complicated actually, maybe I'll just stick to air cooling, but I'm still wondering how hard an dhow long it will take to move everything from one case to the other.
use nice heatsinks and good airflow, water is useless 9/10 unless you know A) what you are doing B) working with top end components C) serious overclocking
