• Stuck Pixel on Used Monitor.

Let me explain, I bought a used Dell Widescreen 1440x900 on Ebay a few days ago. I received it today and there was a pesky little red pixel just sitting there, I did some rubbing and it went away. It seems as if the upper area of the Monitor triggers it, (kinda funny actually like an on and off switch for a pixel!) the lower area gets rid of it. I just flick the areas and it re-appears. Currently I have it on since since I am at http://www.jscreenfix.com/ trying to get rid of it permanently. If it doesn't work, should I be worried? I mean all I gotta do is flick a certain area of my Monitor and BOOM it's gone. Is there any way I can remove it where no-matter where I touch my monitor, it stays away for good? Thanks! The jscreenfix should sort it
The jscreenfix should sort it
Okay, should I flick my monitor screen again and leave it doing its magic for a few hours? [editline]24th April 2014[/editline] I don't want to make another thread just yet but, my Monitor is VGA only and my GPU only has DVI and HDMI Ports. I am currently using this adapter and I get these light vertical sync line things in grey and black areas. Are there any cables out there that remove that? Once I turn on VSync in Game, it really helps to remove it but I don't wanna see it at all.
