Well over a month ago, a games magazine I subscribe to had a bunch of people who went to Gamescom in Cologne. One of the guys went through his goodiebag and decided to give it away. Yours sincerely was the lucky person. You had to tell them what the best game at Gamescom was according to you. My answer was:
Best game on Gamescom? Brutal Legend, without a doubt. Nice hard soundtrack, Jack Black, nice enemies, Jack Black, interesting setting, Jack Black, the concept in general and did I mention Jack Black? Plus, Tim Schafer making a heavy metal game, How can't you love that??
It's been a week, and I finally got it. Contents:
- Red Dead Redemption poster
- Some art books from Bioshock 2, Borderlands and Mafia 2
- A nice Rockstar keychain (in a box that looks like a fucking engagement ring box)
- A Bioshock 2 mouth cover thing
- Bioshock 2 notepad
- 5 (!) t-shirts: One Bioshock 2 with a Big Daddy on it with a text 'We are reborn in the womb of the ocean', a pretty kick-ass Borderlands t-shirt, a shirt of Freddy's Bar (from Mafia 2), a shirt with the GTA4 Ballad of Gay Tony logo and a Mass Effect 2 shirt
- some more random stuff
