Why does a Windows Phone 7 not count as a mobile phone in this? Also there is no mention of the desktop client which I prefer greatly over the browser solution.
I didn't know they had a mobile phone radio thing.
I just wish I could scrobble from my phone somehow, I listen to music so much on it.
Spotify FTW
aww that's shit. I liked the free mobile service :(
I got an email about this. They gave me three free months of premium subscription because of the change.

I ♥ Spotify too.

But I can't be assed to go premium, so I can't listen it on my phone.
Is Spotify internet radio or something?

It's pretty much a huge online library of music. You just search for the music, then instantly have it play, or find what album it's in and listen to the whole album.

lol it's like saying winamp is better than gmod. You can't compare two different things.
Does this affect iPod too?

Android Phones (Perhaps iPhones as well) scrobble tracks.

iOS devices and other iPods can scrobble the tracks you listened to on the go (without internet, so works for iPods) once you connect to the computer. The last.fm client then scrobbles the tracks.
iOS devices also can use the client so you can listen to last.fm's personalized radio stations, and scrobble the songs while you're at it of course.
For jailbroken iOS devices there is also a plugin that scrobbles songs you are listening to in the iPod app in realtime over 3G or Wifi.
