LONDON (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin questioned on Sunday why the West would want to arm Syrian rebels who he said ate human organs, saying plans to give them weapons contradicted basic human values.
Speaking after meeting Prime Minister David Cameron in London ahead of a G8 summit on Monday, Putin said both the Syrian government and Syrian rebels were to blame for the bloodshed.
"You will not deny that one does not really need to support the people who not only kill their enemies, but open up their bodies, eat their intestines in front of the public and cameras. Are these the people you want to support?," Putin told a news conference.
I think that is a fair point Mr.Putin.
Remember, rebels abide by the No Take Back rules regarding weapons.

Has anyone shown him the liveleak videos of what happens to captured Chechens yet?
He probably saw it and laughed.

Regardless of his hypocrisy, he is right. We shouldn't take a stance on what is going on in Syria. It's their problem, let them figure it out.

The pussy only ate a quarter of one? I go through six, maybe seven a day!

That isn't the stance he is taking. They are still selling weapons to Assad.

That's what he is doing. I'm saying we, as in America, and other countries not yet truly invested, should leave the situation alone.
However, Cameron added he thought the differences were not insurmountable.
"What I take from our conversation today is that we can overcome these differences if we recognise that we share some fundamental aims: to end the conflict, to stop Syria breaking apart, to let the Syrian people decide who governs them and to take the fight to the extremists and defeat them,"
We shall arm extremists to defeat extremists. This is a brilliant idea that simply cannot go wrong in any possible way.
Putin's just mad 'cause he wanted the organs for himself.

Any video involving Chechans are normally terrible.
Them doing terrible things, or terrible things being done to them.
I don't see why Russia is complaining.
If someone is arming the enemy of the friend that pays you for weapons, doesn't that just mean that your friend is going to keep paying you for more weapons?

They're sending Assad weapons he can use to fight off intervention. They aren't sending him tanks or anything. The rebels don't even have an air force or a navy so I don't think it's the same as sending anti-tank weapons and small arms.
The west is only interested because they want a influential position in Syria, and a place to sell arms to.
