I don't see why Russia is complaining. If someone is arming the enemy of the friend that pays you for weapons, doesn't that just mean that your friend is going to keep paying you for more weapons?

They aren't sending him tanks or anything. The rebels don't even have an air force or a navy so I don't think it's the same as sending anti-tank weapons and small arms. The west is only interested because they want a influential position in Syria, and a place to sell arms to.
