I don't understand, the 360 costs to play online.
I'm sure the origional reason not to develop on the ps3 was because of coding differences.

Paying doesn't decide anything, after I played PS3, PC, and 360 multiplayer for 5 months, the PS3 community was always crying at each other, has no team work on anything, and just seemed like they went out of their way to make the experience un-enjoyable for each other. It's the exact opposite on 360 and PC.

This doesn't seem like it is something they would say, I mean how can you rate a community for a console? and no I do not have a ps3 nor do I like it, but honestly I believe the communities are somewhat equal, maybe it is because ps3 doesn't include headset?

well 360 online is full of annoying halo players and shit. I guess it can't be that much better.

considering this game is meant almost entirely for co-op play with friends, the community is something you definitely want to look at

L4D's Xbox community is pretty shit. I've played L4D on the 360 a number of times at my friends house and there's at least one <13 year old who insists on screaming into his shitty headset. Every. Single. Game. I can't get over how shit the voice quality is on Xbox live :sigh:
It should just be PC exclusive.
I've never even played a PS3, I wonder if Sony will ever make anything as big as the PS2

What the hell is the point of muting your team mates in a (and I'm talking about L4D, not Halo 3) COOPERATIVE GAME? This example kind of contradicts the whole "ps3 community sub-par" thing.

I'm not gonna lie, I've experience my fair share of idiots on the PC version aswell. But at least the other two guys were on the same page as me and could kick the guy in hopes of a more competent team mate.

If what you say is true, it makes me wonder why the Xbox community vastly superior? Unless Valve was only focusing on the amount of players using either service.

Its the same thing I do on the 360 I hate working with people in a video game through talking.
I much prefer just making actions and hoping there smart enough to understand what I mean.

Hm, funny, I've always found the 360 community to be made up mostly out of boastful, moronic frat boys and 12 year old kids who screech through their mics at you the momentit looks like you're about to win.
Granted, not all of the 360 gamers with mics I've played with/against are like that, but I think your argument is a little biased. Though I do agree with you about the teamwork aspect, mostly because in none of the games I've played through the PSN noone has ever used a mic.
I have little to say about the PC community, seeing as it's always been a mixed bag, though I think we can all agree that generally, it's better than the console community.
Valve is lazy, valve can't do anything right, go fuck yourself valve...
It's not their fault that this shitty PS3 requires another Valve dep. to port game to PS3. Also PS3 community is full of crybabies. Geez, I thought you are better than pc-gamers raging about 24 hours delayed L4D2 demo, but this is ridiculous. So much e-drama... Get over it, PS3 sucks. You thought it's better cause when Microsoft and Sony released their "new-gen" consoles you bought more expensive console instead of upgrading pc.
