Hey guys, a friend of mine needs a new computer pretty badly. A $700 build would be ideal however this must include the following components from either Newegg or Amazon:
-SS QcK+
-Logitech MX518 (the older one with 5 smaller skates, not the new shitty one with 2 large skates)
-Windows 7 OEM
He is willing to push $800-900 if it's extremely worth it however I'd recommend staying between $700-800. The primary use of this rig will be gaming and he already has a suitable monitor/keyboard.
If you need clarification over whether the MX518 you're seeing is the right one just ask...newegg seems to be down so I can't tell whether they're stocking the correct one or not.
Resolution of monitor? Also by NA do you mean Canada or America?
Sorry, should have specified that: America.
I have no clue on the monitor but all games are played at either 640x480, 800x600, or 1028 x 768. In the future he may invest in a 2233Rz so it'd be nice if it could support 1680x1050 but pretty much everything can do that no? I mean a 5770 would be more than sufficient but kudos if you can fit in anything better for newer games/the future.
The MX518 I'm seeing on newegg is the incorrect one so don't bother adding it to a wishlist. He'll have to order it from Amazon, oh whale.
Ok I'll start on it now. So he is going to get a 1680x1050 monitor in the future; he doesn't have Windows 7; and Don't include the mouse in the build?

Comes to $797 before anything. Since your friend said he's willing to push to $900 you have some leftovers for your mouse and the other part you listed (I don't know what that is). If he wants to shave some dough he can get a dual-core PhenomII and a 5770/4850/5750/4870 instead. By the way I know that Cooler Master PSUs are decent, but is the one in the combo ok?
Looks fantastic! I did however switch it to a 5770 to save him a few bucks that will help cover the mousepad/mouse. Thanks!
Since you swapped out the 4890 you could shave off a bit with a less powerful PSU. Anyways good luck!
