I really don't like babies - they're annoying when taken out in public, they cry a bunch, and I think their cuteness is overrated.

But this is just depressingly sad. How could any sensible human being do something like this?

I have a theory.

If I've read right, Illinois requires parents to be informed if a minor has an abortion performed.

I can't believe that someone would just leave a child to die in a bathroom even if they did take enough time to wrap the baby in a towel. Maybe they hoped someone would find it and take it in?

However, at the same time I can't help but wonder how on earth someone can give birth unnoticed in a public washroom. Especially considering how painful childbirth is.
