It offers breathtaking views of the Sochi landscape but it isn't really designed for your daily commute—it is part of a skypark and you can bungee jump off it for a 650-foot drop, as shown in this video. Eight 52mm cables hold the bridge and the bungee platform in place and can take over 300 tonnes per cable. Reminds me a little bit of Goldeneye for some reason.
Reminds me a little bit of Goldeneye for some reason.
I can see the ressemblance.
You couldn't pay me to jump off that shit.
-snip bad reading x 1 (list)-
My palms are already sweaty from the height. Urgggh.
That actually looks pretty fun. Gorgeous view, too.

I see people using it for suicide becoming a serious issue.
knees weak, arms are heavy
I'd do it. I'm fuckin' terrified of heights, but I Bungee jumped before as a part of a bet, and after first jump I realized that they wouldn't let anyone do it if it wasn't damn near completely safe, so there's no real reason not to.
I jumped from one local bridge, but it looks like a pygmy compared to this one. Still dream to try parachuting one day.
I really hope it gets used in a Bond film. Hell, I'll even be happy to see it in a Taken sequel.
Holy balls, I couldn't jump off of that, I have problems with ladders.
knees weak, arms are heavy
On the surface he looks calm spaghetti
Imagine shitting liquid diarrhea while falling, and it just BLASTS out all down your back. That's what would happen to me if I jumped, so I just will stick to watching people do it.
I see people using it for suicide becoming a serious issue.
Why? It's not like people are rushing to the existing bungee jump bridges just to commit suicide. Does this bridge make people want to commit suicide or something?
Hearing the creaking of the metal in the video NOPE NOPE NOPE
I don't trust Russia to build anything after the winter olympics
Hearing the creaking of the metal in the video NOPE NOPE NOPE
A flexible structure is much better than a rigid structure :v:
Holy fuck fuck that shit I just shit my fucking pants looking at those images fuck
