Hey, DD. I have a few questions. Tonight, I am attempting to trip off of DXM. I am going to take 700mg of it (more if necessary) from some Walgreen's tablets. However, there is another ingredient inside of the pills that I bought that are more... there throughout, I guess. Each pill has 200 mg of something called Guaifenesin. I read up on the side-effects of Guai, and have found that the more common are nausea and vomiting. However, I also read that these side-effects can be deterred, or at least decreased, if one eats during the trip and has a full stomach, as well as if one drinks water. But I want to know if it is still safe to take.
By the way, the only reason I bought the one with Guaifenesin was because all of the others at the store had considerably less DXM, more Guaifenesin, and/or some less harmless ingredients inside of them.
Here is the comparison:
20mg of DXM per pill.
200mg of Guaifenesin per pill.
Is this safe to take? If not, where do I find a brand of pills that ONLY has DXM in it?
Safe? Yeah, more or less. Are you going to enjoy the experience? Probably not.
Find medicine with ONLY DXM as the active ingredient. Anything else is going to significantly take away from the experience.

I asked a pharmacist at the store but they had nothing else.
Then go to a different store.

Robotussin gel caps are sold in like every drug store ever with 15mg per cap and 20 caps in a bottle.

With the stuff your were going to take before, it tends to be a near certainty that you will throw up, the objective is to keep it down long enough for your body to absorb the DXM.
fuck man NEVER DO shit with extra ingredients other than DXM.
benadryl dry cough is what you're looking for. I once bought the no name dry cough (only active ingredient DXM) and i still puked.
I only trip off one brand, and that's benadryl dry cough

oh and puking on DXM? not something you want to experience. i literally woke up the nighbors on both side of my house puking and dry heaving on the front step. Imagine the taste of stomach acid, puke, and cough syrup. it was not pleasant. The taste kept me dry heaving a good ten minutes after i was finished puking.
