Hello, i know i freaked the fuck out over my temperatures, but now bad shit is happening. stretched and misplaced textures, in tf2 my HUD spazzes out at random. my performance is fine, but these glitches have been pissing me off. I'm wondering, should i try for an RMA or man up and deal with my malfunctioning piece of $350 tech. system specs are i5 2500k, 8gb Patriot DDR3, Kingwin Mach 1 1000W PSU( i planned on SLI), ASUS P8P67 PRO. i might need a little help with the RMA procedure if i need to, so, would i need the original box or not? i threw mine out since it was only taking up space.
Can you post a picture?

I'm not sure if you'd need the original box, depends on the manufacturer. EVGA just ask that you put it in a reasonably sized box with enough padding and I would guess most manufacturers would ask for something similar. Might as well contact the support team and find out in case you have to send it back.
Put the card in a ESD Bag (go to geek squad or some reasonable computer store and ask for one or if you can buy one)
Tape the bag up then wrap that in bubble wrap then put it in the box with packing peanuts. That will be more than enough for them to not reject it for being damaged.
I'm not sure of whether or not i should do for an RMA. i guess i should RMA, then sell the new one they give or the repaired one. and get me a 580, my original plans were to get a 580 or a 590.

The performance/price ratio of the 580 and onwards isn't worth it. You're paying 1/3 extra for around a 10fps gain. Sticking with a 570 or an equivalent seems like the best option in your situation.
