So this is my graduation year, my parents said that i can pick a COMPANY MANUFACTURED PC, because apparently my dad says back in the 1970s he had trouble building one. Could anyone design me a PC that would be shipped in pre built? Possibly from IBUYPOWER CANADA. I'm looking for a monitor aswell but i can pay for that, an hd monitor. Im looking for a Computer that will run, Splinter cell conviction, gears of war, metro 2033. Batman Arkham asylum, Just pretty much all the top games on the highest of high settings. If this is unrealistic i understand, Im more comoputer illiterate than most people so the possibility of this being unlikely could be higher than expected.
Build it.
Tell your parents it's actually really easy. Like putting together legos that fit only one way. If you have a screwdriver, a functioning brain and arms, and don't suffer from seizures, you can build a computer.
Also, what's your budget?

Explain to your parents that they are literally halving the effectiveness of their money if they do not let you build the PC yourself.
Also PC's in the 70s when your dad was a beatnik were a hell of a lot different from the (comparatively) user friendly machines we have now.

Try looking there... they are extreamly overpriced tho. but it has warranty and shit and you know its gonna work
You realise that your dad's experience is about 40 years out of date, right..?

It really is. I too just got a custom built PC for a graduation present and I got everything (excluding Keyboard, mouse, monitor, and OS) for a little below $850.
Of course, when I wanted to be a little spoiled bastard I went out to Best Buy and bought a Razer keyboard/mouse and Windows 7 Ultimate :v:
