Recently Ive been watching a ton a twilight zone episodes.
Being relatively new to the series, my favorite so far is still the very first episode.
I saw it while blazed as shit at my friends house and ever since then Ive been hooked.
the first episode really conveyed the emotions that the main character had while he was experiencing them.
I thought maybe it was because I was high as fuck but I watched it again the next day (not high) and it still really got me.
Before that I had never had a television show really connect with me on that physiological level, and I was blown away because this was made in the 19 fuckin 50's GODDAMN!
I really like the episodes that deal with the human psyche.
Anyways I'm rambling... What are your favorite episodes? What are some good episode suggestions?
What are some good episodes to watch high as balls?
ect.
ect..... :)
It was really ahead of its time. I really liked "Five Characters in Search of an Exit", "Mirror Image", "Shadow Play", "The Dummy", "Death's Head Revisited", "Miniature", "Nightmare as a Child", "Number 12 Looks Just Like You", and "Twenty-Two".
These are all mind blowers
"The Lonely" - inmate on prison planet gets a robot girl for company, then it gets all Twilight Zone-y
"Time Enough at Last"- you'll never forget this one
"The After Hours"- a creepy one
"The Invaders"- one old woman, being attacked by...something.
"The Grave"- a creepy western
"To Serve Man"- another 'whoa!' episode

That was fucking sad.
I also loved "The Obsolete Man".

Also, if we're talking about mind-blowing episodes, might as well mention the very first episode, "Where is Everybody?"
[sp]I swear, I thought it was going to be some sort of hallucination or he turns out to be dead or it's a pretty image flashing before his eyes moments before he dies but none of that![/sp]
I'm going to start watching this soon, as references to it are absolutely everywhere (see most treehouse of horror episodes). How scary is it? I don't mean psychological scares.

The episodes tend to be less scary and more 'holy fucking shit, I did not see that coming at all'.
Like Tales of the Unexpected?

Tales of the Unexpected was more like a remake of Alfred Hitchcock's tv show, since most of those stories were done first on that show. Twilight Zone is different because there's more of an emphasis on science fiction/fantasy/supernatural on there.
Is there an episode about a man who stays in the bath too long and turns into a eucalyptus leaf (because too much radox) or did my dad make that up?
