During a Premier League presentation at NBC's offices at 30 Rockefeller Center on Tuesday, the network announced all Premier League matches will include pre- and post-game studio coverage and be streamed live via NBC Sports Live Extra, the network's live streaming product for desktop, mobile and tablets.
Coverage of the Premier League will kick off Aug. 17 with live matches on NBC, NBC Sports Network, Telemundo, Mun2, Premier League Extra Time, NBC Sports Live Extra and other NBC Universal channels including CNBC and USA. The network also announced that every Premier League match on the final day of the season -- May 11, 2014 -- will air live across a host of NBCU channels, including NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, USA, MSNBC and E!.
In addition, all 10 games on Championship Sunday will be broadcast live across NBC Sports' network of channels. While this news came out just a few weeks ago, I haven't seen any threads about this. As an American football fan, I couldn't be happier with this.
From the people that brought you shitty Olympics coverage
this is probably cool for brits who live in the us
brits who live in the uk
There are lots of them
also great for people who have had the misfortune to both be born in the USA and be a soccer/football fan

because if you know about the USA, you know that there is basically no such thing on TV right now

The Premier League are targeting the growing demographic of Football fans in the US. Not surprised considering some decent teams have been touring the US in past pre-seasons.

Yeah it's nice, I'm not a fan of soccer but it's nice to see it's becoming more mainstream in the states, which is something I've been noticing over the last few years.
there are actually a few HUGE soccer markets in the USA:
Seattle, WA; Salt Lake City, UT; Houston, TX; Portland, OR
they're all mostly west coast but we need to expand those markets into the whole united states because that would kick ass and one day i might be able to watch bundesliga or other interesting leagues
Now do the same with the NFL over here.
we gave it a try with NFL Europa which isn't really the same thing but still

they made a pretty funny trailer thing for it
There are lots of them
fuck i meant us lol
It will no doubt feature NBC comentators looking completely lost until they find a random American - anyone - to interview while they ignore all of the teams and coaches, just like the Olympics.

I know of no-one interested in American-style football over here though?

nbc already acknowledged how terrible their olympics coverage was so no i don't think so, ESPECIALLY because if you even read the OP you would have known that over 75% of their BPL programming includes players, coaches, and analysts from england

It was more of a joke than anything, but you are correct.
