Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series RAM - 4 GB I need new parts to be able to run newer games, any suggestions what needs upgrading?
Both your CPU and GPU need an upgrade, if you want to run the newest games. What's your budget?
£200-300 but I can pump it higher if need be.
I'm thinking an i5-3570k and a GTX 560 Ti. You should be able to get that for £240-260 total, and you'd be able to run the newest games pretty well. Or you could get a 660 Ti instead of a 560 for about £60-70 more, if you prefer more power over a lower price. Maybe consider slapping in another 2-4GB of ram as well? (Not as important) [sp]totally forgot he would need a new motherboard as well[/sp]:v:

If it's a core 2 PC, it's probably using DDR2. Everything nowadays uses DDR3 [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] But yeah, new motherboard, CPU, RAM and GPU are needed.
I would go for maybe an i3 and a Radeon 7850, 4 or 8 GB of RAM. The stuff you have at the moment can't really be economically upgraded. These components give you bang for your buck and should play a good majority of games.
