"The comedy This Is The End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption." (From imbd most of the people in this are cameos mostly) Cast : Emma Watson Paul Rudd James Franco Jason Segel Jonah Hill Seth Rogen Michael Cera David Krumholtz Jay Baruchel Martin Starr Mindy Kaling Rihanna Kevin Hart Danny McBride Extra Stuff "Way back in 2007, Jay Baruchel and Seth Rogen made a fake trailer for an end-of-the-world comedy called Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse, and talked about turning it into a full-blown feature. Development was slow-ish, but the cameras finally rolled this year on the re-titled This Is The End, and to prove it here's a Mayan-appropriate teaser trailer. It's probably NSFW, but you've all knocked off already, right?"
Looks like it could be pretty awesome.
Looking forward to this, been aware of it for a while so I'm glad to finally see a trailer. Love all the guys in it, all the stuff they do together is great. This should be awesome.
I saw the trailer for this yesterday, loved it. Definitely planning on checking it out when it comes out.
I really like how they play themselves, rather than just characters.
This looks like great fun. Looking forward to it.
I really like how they play themselves, rather than just characters.
.. But are they really playing themselves? Or are they playing characters that are playing themselves? Or are they playing themselves playing characters?
.. But are they really playing themselves? Or are they playing characters that are playing themselves? Or are they playing themselves playing characters?
Playing characterized versions of themselves
This is going to be either really amazing or really horrible.
This is going to be either really amazing or really horrible.
And you're probably the 10th person I've seen mention this. Yes, yes, yes. Most comedies are pretty much hit or miss, I get it.
Its got all these sweet actors in it, i know its gonna be friggen hilarious as i just laughed pretty hard at that trailer, basically Danny :P
Bumping with new trailer !
this looks great
fff that red trailer totally spoils the michael cera gag. Would've been so much funnier to have been caught off guard by that for the actual movie. [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] then again it's usually a bad idea to watch all the marketing for comedies
Another once since that one was took down And Emma Watson? Film is now 100% sexier.
Bumping with a score of 8.5 from ign and its gonna come out here in a couple days PLUS ! The soundtrack was released !!!

I thought it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time! I think everyone should see it. And honestly if you don't find this movie funny then your sense of humor sucks
It was great! There are a lot of good things to say about the film. I'd mention some funny stuff with some spoiler tags but every scene was hilarious so yeah. I guess one thing that I wasn't expecting was [sp]the whole Emma Watson thing to play out like it did. I thought from the trailers that she came back just to trick them and steal their stuff.[/sp] It's one of the few comedies worth seeing in theaters.

I dont remember why, and its obviously not true, it just made me so damn happy.

The film reminded me that we still need a Little Nicky 2. I forgot how it ended though so maybe that's a terrible idea.
[sp]I liked how James Franco predicted his own death in his vision of Pineapple Express 2 (his character sacrificing himself for Seth's, getting eating by Danny's)[/sp]
This movie was great. Funniest movie I have seen in a long time.
That movie was fucking perfect
I don't know why, but I fucking hate Danny McBride. In every movie he's in, I hate him so much, but I can't stop myself from laughing at the shit he does.
The scene where Jonah Hill was[sp] portraying Woody Harrelson[/sp]was my favorite. I laughed hard. Definitely a movie worth watching. The best part about the movie is that the actors are playing themselves. Expect references to their past films.
Good flick, i recommend taking your grandma to see it
