Come on.. they're not that bad. Okay, there are alot of crappy songs and the production is just 100 % perfect - making it somewhat flat in my opinion, but they still have some really good material. I bet you haven't even heard a single song of them. I know [i]I[/i] hadn't until I finally checked them out.

I see alot of people complaining about how they are just a product used for making money etc, but whatever happened to listening to music just because it's music, and not judging the musical quality by who the artists and their goal are. I looked in the "Music Genres And Close-Mindedness"-thread and saw how everybody was like "who cares what the genre or who the artists are? I just listen to the stuff I enjoy.". But I guess that only applies to music the music you like...

I think people have the same problem with these guys simply because they became famous through some movie or other, not necessarily for their musical talent

I like them too. Their songs are really catchy and fun, and the lyrics are smart and funny. I also find their television show very humorous as well.

Said it before, the Jonas Brothers are the modern day beatles. They're a pop-rock band that writes music directed towards young people while the older generation sticks to older music and scolds their fans. They both have a rabid cult-like fan base.
