A wealthy parking-lot magnate gave herpes to his Soho model girlfriend — after he promised her that he didn’t have any sexually transmitted diseases, a $5 million lawsuit charges.
William Lerner, 57, who owns Imperial Parking Systems — one of the largest garage operators in the tristate area — met the beautiful 43-year-old woman at an art gallery in 2012 and wooed her for several months, according to papers filed yesterday in Manhattan Supreme Court.
“We had fallen in love. It was a very serious relationship very quickly,” the woman, who is listed in the complaint as “Anonymous,” told The Post.
The pair went out on expensive dates, and the high- roller even flew her to Aruba, said her lawyers, Matthew Blit and Justin Clark.
“The entire time, I had protected sex with him,” the woman explained. “It did cross my mind that maybe he should be tested, but on the other hand, I trusted him completely.”
She said her troubles began March 2012, when Lerner tricked her into thinking that he didn’t have any “health issues,” and the couple had unprotected sex for the first time.
Days later, the woman allegedly experienced a herpes outbreak.
What a dick
What was wrong with just having protected sex? This guy is a faggot.
do yourself a favor and actually reading the article
Moral of the story: have your girlfriend and boyfriend tested before you have unprotected sex. Don't let them convince you about having sex or else you are screwed (no pun intended.)
condoms don't even help against herpes much, viral shedding occurs all around the groin area even when you're not having an outbreak so you're likely to pass it on a lot of the time.
I hope some day we'll have an effective vaccine for it like we do currently for HPV.

as you'd expect, wearing a condom reduces the chance of contracting it, but not by a huge amount

God just use a plastic bag from the supermarket as a condom, guaranteed there won't be any skin contact in the groin area
Do yourself a favor and fuck off.
The couple was having protected sex the whole time. Then he tricks her into having unprotected sex and she has a herpes outbreak several days later. He tricked her, she got herpes, he's a faggot. How about you read the fucking article?
How would he be a faggot if he was clearly having intercourse with a female?
you have to be a pretty horrible person to deliberately give someone an std

I decided to make it less slanty

Haha, comparing these to makes the first one look like a shopped image
Always always always make sure your partner is tested before having unprotected sex with them.
Herpes? Just fucking herpes? Shit, he probably didn't even know he had it... And for that matter, there's a 60% chance that she already had it as well. Still a dick move to insist that your clean when you don't actually know for sure, but this isn't a big deal at all.

that 60% figure is for other forms of herpes (e.g. oral herpes / coldsores)
Genital herpes is rarer.

I generally fucking hate the idea of an STD that's invisible most of the time, gives the middle finger to condoms, and to boot has a nasty stigma that comes with it. nature is so shit

Herpes does suck indeed...
Sounds like you're saying that from experience
I am saying it from Experience. The first year or so is absolute hell, after that it isn't SO bad. But the occasional outbreaks that come from it. (In my case anyway which is maybe 3 times a year each lasting a week) vary from downright hell to just kinda meh.

Well now I feel like a real asshole, apologies

No worries, you've nothing to apologize for. :v:

My girlfriend got it from her cheating ex. I probably have it, though as an apparently immune carrier (never had any outbreaks ever) because of the aforesaid stuff about viral herpes. My girlfriend had two outbreaks (once when she caught it several years ago, and then another time shortly after, then never again so far)
It's probably the least destructive of the STDs, though, and in all likelihood he probably forgot about it because past the first few outbreaks, it basically becomes something that you can forget you have because you never really experience the symptoms again.

That happens if you crop something near the edge of the camera field of view.

Yeah majority of my outbreaks since getting it about 4 years ago have been just a bit of irritation. And the rare bad outbreak. But aside from that only the first years worth were mindbogglingly painful and irritating.
