Some Copy Paste (Sorry, JUST found out about them a week or so ago so I don't have info)
Iron & Wine is the stage and recording name of folk rock singer-songwriter Samuel Beam. He has released three studio albums, several EPs and singles, as well as a few download-only releases, which include a live album (a recording of his 2005 Bonnaroo performance). He tours with a full band. [1] He was raised in South Carolina before moving to Florida to attend school, but now resides outside Austin, Texas. The name Iron & Wine is taken from a dietary supplement named "Beef Iron & Wine" that he found in a general store while shooting a film
I heard about this guy from the "3" official forums, so i youtubed it and i was instantly blown away, so i instantly bought all of his albums (seriously. haha). I myself am a music freak, I love any type of music (seriously, Frank Sinatra all the way to Meshuggah) but Acoustic music has always had a special place in my heart.
So, yeah I just wanted you guys to hear an amazing artist that some of you may never have heard of :)

I love Iron & Wine. Good acoustic artist.
Woooo!
The Sheperd's Dog is such a good album. His voice is fantastic.
His music is old, but still good.
Not exactly old dude, old is the 60's and down.
He is supposed to be pretty good live.

Reminds me of the majority of fools in my school who will only listen to music from the last 6 months, or as long as it's the big thing.

I agree and it's fucking annoying.

well after you listen to something a LOT, it just doesn't sound as good as it used to, you grow tired of hearing it.

but the only part of naked as i came that i like though is the guitar.

I find that's only a problem with shitty, shallow music.
Boy with a Coin is one of my favorite songs of all time. The underlying meaning is beautiful.
I didn't take a liking to Iron and Wine's cover of Such Great Heights though.
Meh.

Rated you agree because it was late.
He looks like a very hairy Ryan Dunn. :v:
Good artist though. Him and Johnette Napolitano should do a show together. That would be worth seeing.
