Can't speak of the 2nd game, but I highly recommend the 1st CoH and it's expansion packs. Easily one of the most atmospheric and legit skirmish experiences ever.
CoH2 it's a very, very, very good game but unfortunately it follows on from the immaculate CoH1 and Opposing Fronts. If you havent played CoH1 it's worth what ever the cost is now it's still one hell of a game, CoH2 is also worth the price IMO but it's a faster paced experience and is set on the eastern front which is not to every ones taste (it's not mine), however the WFA expansion does bring things back west.
At this price it's a steal. You can get the entire original series for under 10 bucks. That's brilliant. Don't pass up this opportunity to play a classic! CoH1 is by far one of my favorite RTS's of all time and I have logged countless hours into it's multiplayer.
CoH2 is a decent game in it's own right but it switches to the Eastern Front which many may love and definitely wanted since CoH1 but it's not something I was entirely interested in. None the less, the addition of the American's and the Oberkommando West as well as the upcoming British Army add-on yet to be released, it's becoming something special all the same!

Why is there no news about the Linux and Mac version that has just been released ?
