MSTRKRFT is an electronic / techno / DJ Duo from East York (Toronto), the band came right out of the break up of the Toronto Dance Punk band 'Death From Above 1979' in 2005. They have 1 Album released, which had little success, but I think there works are very good. The get their DJ equipment at the same place I do [URL=http://www.playderecord.com/live/]Play De Record (Toronto)[/URL] MSTRKRFT is short for 'Mastercraft' which is a brand of power tools sold at a Canadian Hardware store called 'Canadian Tire'.
The 2 members are Jesse Keeler, (AKA JFK) who used to play Bass Guitar for Death From Above 1979,Al-P (Alex Puodziukas) formerly of the Mississauga electropop group Girlsareshort. There music sounds a bit like Daft Punk, and Justice. In my opinion, there best songs include: Kennedy Killed the Hat (REMIX), D.A.N.C.E (REMIX), and Monster Hospital (REMIX)
There First Album, The Looks was released July 18 2006, they have another album planned in March 2008. They are currently touring:

I saw them at Oxegen, last month.
Was fucking amazing.
I just got their album last week (Have been listening to DFA 1979 for a while).
It's pretty good, a bit generic, I usually put it on when people are over.
They're alright, Neon Knights is their best track in my opinion.

MSTRKRFT is good but I don't really like Fist of God. It's still good but compared to Looks it's lacking.
I used to love them, but Heartbreaker with John Legend is shit
Mstrkrft is amazing found out about them with their remix of Justice's dance a long time ago.
One thing about them is their songs are kinda flat by themselves, but just like Justice when you listen to a set or their remixes its amazing.
