My wifi is working fine with my laptop. (I am currently using it) But when I try and use it with my iPod Touch it doesn't work nor does it work with my iPhone. It was working fine until about a week ago. My iPods find the network and connect to it but the internet just doesn't work.
This is a major pain in the ass.
I have a D-Link Wireless ADSL2/2+ Modem Router (DSL-G604T)
Can anybody help me or offer any advice at all?
Wrong section?
Whatever.
Move it mod.
Maybe the network admin has a whitelist of some sort?
Wait, the iPhone has WiFi?? O__o

Yeah! Isn't that cool? It came out just recently! Ooo, Apple being innovative again.

'splain?
not a huge computer nerd but I know my way around.
Try changing the type of security on your router, I had to change mine to WPA to get my iPod to work on my network.

Once again, explain?
Sorry guys
If you're using your home network you'll need the WEP key. (At least this is how it worked for me.)
It's essentially your network password in some computer language..
For me, I had to go to the computer that hosts the internet router, and then:
1. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your internet browser.
2. Username leave blank, and the password should be admin unless you've changed it.
3. Then search around for the key, I'm not entirely sure where it is.
4. Then put that into the password box on your ipod/phone.
Good luck!

Oh really? I need the WEP key? Oh darn I wish I knew this before. [/sarcasm]
Like I said, I can connect to the network, I have the key, it's been entered and saved, but the internet just won't work.
Acting like a douche won't get you help, only various STDs.
Why do you have both a ipod touch and a iphone?
Restart your router. that might work

becaus one plays music
[/fail]
Maybe you need to change type of wireless thing. Forget what it's called. Like for some of my electronics it needed to go from Wireless N to Wireless G to work. Maybe you can try changing that?
Jump off a cliff OP

Stop being such a twat to people who are trying to help you
Your posts come across as really arrogant. Not a good way to ask for help.
Check your router's settings to make sure the settings aren't the problem.
Also make sure you're broadcasting in a mode compatible with the iPod/Phone/Thing's wireless receiver.

What the fuck are you talking about they both play music? unless if you like stuck you're fucking dick in the headphone jack.
If it was working till a week ago, just try resetting your router. Reset, as in factory default settings. That usually works if your wireless is borked.
Blend the iPhone. Or send it to me so I can fix it for you.
I make one sarcastic post and I get hatefucked. Feels good man.
The iPod touch is actually my friends but I have it at the moment. Both iPods are being detected by my router because they come up in the admin control panel as Stuart-iPhone and Brendan-iPodTouch. But when I try to open a page in safari or use the internet in anyway it tells me that the connection could not be found.
I've tried restarting the router many times with no success. I've also just discovered that my xbox live isn't working and that's connected via ethernet cable. So I'm thinking it's my router.
I apologise for any douchebaggery. <3
Resetting the router, as in pull the power for 10 seconds, or actually going into the control panel to do a factory restore?
I was typing that as you made your post, I was talking about unplugging for 30 seconds. How do I factory restore? Do I need to go to the admin CP?
Yeah. It's usually somewhere in Administration.
Try reset network settings general>reset>network settings, then go to wifi>other and enter in your details manually, works for me whenever my iPod decides it wants to fuck around.
Not working. Not happy.

Does your router have a MAC address whitelist? In which case you'd need to add the MAC addresses of all the devices you have to that list.
Input info manually check router for block rules or mac address filtering. Fap vigorously at night as web pages will load much faster now.
Isn't it fun how OP first says he's no "Computer nerd" and needs an explanation for everything but then sarcasms his way down on Archonos?
Good luck guy.
I have kinda thesame problem at my dad's home with a Zyxel DSL modem/router, but he has a Timecapsule i can hook into, at my mom's i can just hook into my linksys wrt4g
