• Monitor Problems.

First of all, my monitor, a Westinghouse LCM-22W3 finally went up and died on me. With some help, I managed to replace the capacitors on the board and now my monitor is fully working again, with one tiny problem. Windows is now detecting my monitor, which I believe displayed previously as a generic plug and play monitor, as an Acer AL1714. I don't think replacing the capacitors caused this, because before I replaced them I had hooked up a second monitor and that's when I first saw that windows recognized my monitor, even though nothing displayed on the screen, as the Acer. I tried using a different cord to plug in, and I tried a system restore to a few days back and uninstalled/reinstalled my ATI Drivers through device manager. EDIT: I may try and reinstall the OS, though I doubt it will work...
