Charlie Brooker sums up all my thoughts on Fox News in one clip
They said the word "evolution". This obviously wasn't posted by Fox News. They would have used a word like "ascendance". Or "glory". Or "Jesusness". Also:
here's to many, many more years of our bringing you fair and balanced news coverage.
Good luck with that, guys. The total amount of fair and balanced coverage from your channel so far is: ... About 10 minutes.
Wow, they're really arrogant, huh?

Do you ever wonder if we fell into the Twilight Zone? Maybe in a alternate universe Fox News doesn't exist.
Do you ever wonder if we fell into the Twilight Zone? Maybe in a alternate universe Fox News doesn't exist.
We could only hope that there is a universe fortunate enough for such luck. We got stiffed, though.
The Fox Nation is committed to the core principles of tolerance, open debate, civil discourse, and fair and balanced coverage of the news. It is for those opposed to intolerance, excessive government control of our lives, and attempts to monopolize opinion or suppress freedom of thought, expression, and worship.
Haha oh wow
Fair and balanced if you're a Republican.

I think it's fucking hilarious that Fox News isn't even registered as a news broadcaster.
I think it's fucking hilarious that Fox News isn't even registered as a news broadcaster.
The news they report is less truthful than The Onion.
They're not even legally obliged to report news fairly since they registered as an entertainment broadcaster.
I think it's fucking hilarious that Fox News isn't even registered as a news broadcaster.
Wait, what?
Wait, what?
I recall reading here on FP that they registered as entertainment providers to avoid having to provide unbiased news. I don't remember who it was but they seemed to know a lot about it.
Haha,oh god [editline]8th October 2011[/editline]
I recall reading here on FP that they registered as entertainment providers to avoid having to provide unbiased news. I don't remember who it was but they seemed to know a lot about it.
Holy shit,seriously?
Obligatory celebration video. Please no boxes... please?
Fair and balanced
FAIR IS FOUL AND FOUL IS FAIR.
They're not even legally obliged to report news fairly since they registered as an entertainment broadcaster.
As I understand that's more or less irrelevant because Fox proved in court a while ago that any broadcaster has a right to lie based on the First Amendment. But yeah, they've got no requirement to tell the truth.

I don't think the ads count as part of Fair and Balanced coverage.

Perhaps, and hear me out this is gonna sound crazy, you should watch Fox before blindly bashing it. I mean more than 10 minutes worth. The 'Fair and Balanced' comes from them having both a democrat and republican share their views, then 'You Decide.'
Reading the comments.
The only news channel true Americans watch for the truth and some of the libs.are joining America's News channel. Thanks,FNC !!!!
Are people really this dense? Another quote making fun of fox news.
It is the birthday of Fox News but I've never seen it's long form birth certificate so, you know, illegitimate.
:v:
Fair and balanced if you're a Republican.
Fair and balanced. If you're a white, christian, heterosexual, nuclear family who hates those brown people.
The 'Fair and Balanced' comes from them having both a democrat and republican share their views, then 'You Decide.'
That's the justification for the fair and balanced slogan, but the way they report news is hardly fair or balanced.

Those comments on the site hurt my IQ
While they cut off the Democrat whenever he starts to make a point.
No. They don't. They often times give them the last word.

The day FOX news goes off air forever, and gets replaced with something that is actually reliable and good. I'll celebrate. It would certainly be a milestone in human progress.
