Unsure if this is music/h&s/fast threads but I'll post here;
Are there any programs out there for composing music? Piano is a must, but if it includes other instruments that is fine.
I already tried Sibelius (6) that program was great, but I only have the demo version of it and I can't save my works. And I don't feel like paying 100 dollars for something I will probably get bored of very quickly.

Fruity Loops Studio had a nice demo last time I checked.

I use Fruity Loops 8 and Sonar 7.
Make a base with Fruity loops and export that to Sonar to add real instruments/vocals.
