I think it would be cool if Minecraft had a pvp game mode with guns.
I love it.
Minecraft really is just a disappointment after disappointment nowadays. At least now I can look forward to updates from this developer of a potentially great indie hit who has real passion for his game. I've felt like Notch stopped doing it because he loved video games around summer last year. Everything just went at a snails pace, and it was purely just working on Friday for that Friday update.

I don't even think the video captures it all too well. It's one of those games that aren't so amazing to look at, a lot more fun to actually play, so yeah, good idea to try it out.

It kind of does with a mod, but this is so much fun and could evolve into an amazing game, and I'm pretty sure it will.

There's a LOT of issues currently though, huge floods of people from Reddit, Facepunch, /v/ and all other shit, so there's a stupid ratio of people to servers, and the website is getting shat on from the traffic at the minute.
Don't let it deter you from trying the game out later though.

I don't think it is possible with the engine, but I have no idea, the graphics are fine IMO.

Well, and the fact that Australia is pretty remote from anywhere else. The US has a lot of land with a lot of people, and same for the EU.

Just try more than one server, not empty ones, but not 32/32 ones obviously and it will work fine.

I tried all of them.
The only problem is that I've only been able to get into about 3 games so far, every single other fucking time it says "Can't Connect".

I don't know how you guys are getting troubles, sounds like you're just getting bad luck.
I wish there where different types of guns. But mostly I just wish I didnt suck at the game so much.

It's only been out for a week and has received 3 updates as much as I see. So I would expect something like that quite soon.
Man I wanted something like this when minecraft was just released, something where you can fight an opposing team while trying to create cover and shit

I've had no issues, it's been really stable since 0.26. Just don't join games with 0/32 because they have no port opened, and don't join 32/32 games because... you know, they're full.
I haven't been able to join a game without crashing. I think I'll wait for a few patches before I try to play again.

If you are talking about a grey screen, it is just bad servers, overloaded, just join a server near the cap, normally those are good.
Why didnt he just mod minecrafts engine? instead of starting from scratch with this [b]terrible[/b] looking game.
