Anyone here know how to photoshop colors onto a plain drawing Example (not the image I want): http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/8190/416749-Dream_Team_Teen_Titans_by_Buchemi_super.jpg like coloring this and making it nice with shades and all, I may not have much to offer but I do play TF2 and if you are someone who has talent for such a task and likes TF2 items maybe we can work out some kind of arrangement for helping me out. Let me know what you think. sincerly~ Left 4 Pills
Create new layer -> Get a brush (soft) -> Set the layer type as "color". Using that you can color the black lines. - just an example. For the white convered areas you can use photoshop pen tool.

That actually looks pretty nice, but the image I wanted done is this one actually http://filesmelt.com/dl/GoW_0011.jpg A full colored thing, whether it looks cartoony or epic. This is my last try to search here incase anyone would like to try. But nice coloring again. For the white convered areas you can use photoshop pen tool.
print it out and colour by hand if you don't have photoshop
If you want to colour everything, here's my solution Remove all the white and leave nothing but the blacks Then make a white layer underneath and colour on that Then use a transparent layer on top to shade it This is the technique I use for everything I colour
Do you use color range to get rid of all the white?
Colour to alpha :v:
Or you could just do a multiply layer? If you don't have Photoshop, use Gimp. Keeps all your black lines and you don't have to mess with the original image.
I use use the way stated above alot here and example i did real fast (image was not cleaned aka lots of random lines) also no shading

You can get good at a lot of things simply through practice, effort, learning etc. You can download a 30 day free trial of photoshop from Adobe or you could try Gimp which is free. I just googled freeware and found these http://sixrevisions.com/graphics-design/10-excellent-open-source-and-free-alternatives-to-photoshop/ and finally you can print the image, hand colour and then scan it if you want it use it online.
