• Do I Have To Buy Everything At Once?

It would be really fun if I could build my computer one part at a time, leading up to my BDay in approx 5 months but I saw a Newegg video and they said to get everything at once incase you have a DOA part. What's your opinion on this?
I've designed a kickass build for my firend, though due to him not having the amount of money needed, we will order it part by part. Only downside would be shipping costs.
You can do that if you want, but you should buy the most important parts last so that way if they do DOA, you can return them easily. Buy the case, then the PSU, then your motherboard, processor, HDD, and gfx card. I say buy the PSU right after the case because you can test if your PSU actually works without having the rest of the components.

You ALWAYS by the PSU, Mobo CPU and Memory at the same time for RMA purposes. No exceptions.
