[t]http://i.imgur.com/m6UmZj4.jpg[/t]
Despite repeated encouragement by researchers, special 'sexercise' classes and plying them with viagra, Yongyong and his mate, five-year-old Ke Lin, were reluctant to join in with a breeding scheme at a Chinese research centre. That was until researchers hit on the idea of showing the couple footage of pandas lustily mating in the wild. According to the South China Morning Post cheers erupted at the Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding last week when Yongyong finally mated with reluctant Ke Lin.

Gentlemen I would just like to say. Porn has saved the day for the Pandas.
Pornda
Just as well giant pandas don't have opposable thumbs; if they did they'd probably be inclined to "paw off" to that stuff rather than bang their partner. But on the plus side they wouldn't need a fluffer.
I saw this on "Idiot abroad" I thought it was a joke, didn't know it actually worked.
Watch as furries start making porn of pandas watching porn
As an unfortunate side effect the male pandas have been prone to ejaculate on the mates head and chest.
Looks like the mists of pandaria might be a little sticky.
Watch as furries start making porn of pandas watching porn
I have one related picture right here but I already got banned for furfaggotry so I will just leave it at the informative "that already is a thing, anyway".
"the panda , left alone for some hours with soft lighting and some softcore panda porn, will emerge from its dwelling and instantly head for the nearest female, or adult panda bookstore," can't wait to hear that on a guided tour of a zoo
Do the videos have panda pizza delivery men and panda plumbers?
I heard that apparently they can only eat bamboo, but allegedly they actually can eat other things from what I've heard. It's just that bamboo is the main thing they eat, and they have to eat a lot of it to get their daily nutritional requirements. Can these things even eat fruit, or are there no such enticing fruits in the Chinese bamboo forests? Also pertaining to what Awesomecaek said, I remember when we used to have a subforum for that kinda stuff, but it got removed for reasons I no longer remember.

However they're dumb so eat fresh bamboo shoots which offer little in energy so they spend most of their day eating and the rest sleeping. If they ate properly and hunted like other bears they would be much more successful.
Indeed; disturbing flaw. If we can map the giant panda genome, maybe we could locate the sequences that promote sloth, switch them off, and possibly implement code that promotes pack-hunting habits. And whilst we're at it, opposable thumbs would be a nice touch.
the point to that being?

Oh, so it's fine for a panda to go out with a five year old but when I do it it's considered immoral, illegal and enough to get me landed on the sex offender's register? Double standards all the bloody time.
More like just pandas that eat more than just bamboo and aren't solitary; give an animal the habits to live in groups and you'd have a species with a better chance of survival. The thumbs would also increase their dexterity and allow them to use rudimentary tools like a termite stick or cracking nuts with rocks; bare-bones primitive technology that allows them to survive. If something has actual functioning thumbs they'll eventually learn to use them; the sesamoid bone they have at the moment is hardly a dexterous appendage, they could hardly grasp a rock or stick with that bloody thing.
Can't we just let these terrible excuses for animals die already? Stop wasting money on trying to get these stupid animals to fuck and spend it on more important animals that are going extinct.
Godwinism aside, apparently the "thumb" of the panda is the name of a book based around natural history. And yes, I did just pull a "Reductio ad Hitlerum" on you good sir.
