Windows 7 BSOD MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION STOP: 0x0000009C
1 replies, posted
So, my PC freezes randomly when I'm gaming and its making a looped sound. Earlier it didn't show any BSOD, but now it started to show that. I used Memtest 86+ and I couldn't find any errors with memory. Temps look normal as well. It usually happens with more resource demanding games like GTA IV and APB. It's not happening with Dota 2 or Mount and Blade.

Read this article, it's some sort of hardware problem, possibly caused by overstressing hardware maybe by overclocking
