I seriously didn't find a thread... and the premiere is tonight. So let's discuss it in here! Banner jacked from hulu.
Based on the popular British series of the same name, this faster-paced American version follows the daily interactions of a group of idiosyncratic office employees at paper company Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch via a documentary film crew's cameras. Regional manager Michael (Steve Carell) thinks he's the coolest, funniest, best boss ever - which, of course, makes him the uncoolest, most obnoxious and annoying boss as far as his staff are concerned. Salesman Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) has always loved receptionist Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) and loves sabotaging his cube-mate, the know-it-all Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson). Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak) started as a young, smart, self-possessed temp, but quickly figured out the real office politics despite Michael's attempts to instill the official point-of-view, and gets himself a job at corporate HQ in New York. The staff is rounded out by quiet Phyllis Lapin Vance (Phyllis Smith), beaten down by the working life Stanley Hudson (Leslie David Baker), office alcoholic Meredith Palmer (Kate Flannery), up-tight Angela Martin (Angela Kinsey), formerly closeted homosexual Oscar Martinez (Oscar Nunez), stocky and uncouth Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner), ambivalent kleptomaniac Creed Bratton (Creed Bratton), Sad Sack HR rep Toby Flenderson (Paul Lieberstein), persistently love-struck Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling), icy corporate manager turned Michael's girlfriend Jan Levinson (Melora Hardin), former Stamford branch denizen and Cornell graduate Andy Bernard (Ed Helms), warehouse foreman Darryl Philbin (Craig Robinson), and Pam's ex-fiancé Roy Anderson (David Denman).
Yay, it's back! I have to admit though, there are some elements of the British series that are missed in the Americanized version.
Sucks that this will be the last season for Carell. Unless I heard wrong
I should get back into this, started watching other shows around the time of Jim and Pam's wedding and never really bothered watching it again. I hope they end it when Carell leaves, it just won't be the same and it'll end up like that abomination that pretends it's the 9th season of Scrubs.
This show is the best. I'm watching it.
You heard right. Whos going to replace him? [sp]Tim. Allen.[/sp] It just wont be the god damn same. They should replace Carell with Zach Galifianakis
They should replace Carell with Zach Galifianakis
Me and my friend were talking about this. I would be okay with this :D
If Steve is leaving, just end the show.
You heard right. Whos going to replace him? [sp]Tim. Allen.[/sp] It just wont be the god damn same.
What the fuck? I mean I liked [sp]Home Improvement[/sp] but in the Office god no
I was reading some interview, they said that if they were going to replace the position of regional manager, The person would not be like the original. Their persona would be different. Automerge :argh:
Well i better buy this season. Cuz it's gonna be downhere after.
this show is pretty bad now, it's gotten a lot worse over the seasons
Heh Heh.
That was a good intro.
Didn't watch tonight's episode. Will watch it tomorrow.

Nothing definite nor official.
One of my season 6 episodes finally came from Netflix, these episodes are hilarious. I like it how Michael wont leave his Clue character then freaks out at Jim.
There has been a murder in Savannah!
I never really got into this show. I don't think it's hilarious, but when I do watch it, it's relatively chuckle-worthy. Good show though and I'm sad that Carrell is done with it.
You heard right. Whos going to replace him? [sp]Tim. Allen.[/sp] It just wont be the god damn same.
I wish they could do what they did with the UK version and end it while it's still good. It looks like they're gonna run it into the ground instead.
God i hate Michael's nephew.
The elevator scene was great! :v:
someone find a gif of him spanking his nephew
Is the nephew in the new episode?
Best tv show ever..
They should replace Carell with Zach Galifianakis
Fuck that, they need to have Steve Carell AND Zach Galifianikis at once in the series!
Oh, it's the kid from Kick Ass.
