Yup, downloaded the new Deathly Hallows trailer from Apple and now I can't delete, move or rename the bloody thing. Tried deleting in safe mode but to no avail. Just gets stuck in the progress bar as well.
Try deleting it via the command prompt
Make sure it's stopped in any mediaplayer/program.
Not much more I could say.
restart the computer and that will release it from any program holding onto it.
I intalled Unlocker which showed which process is using it. Oddly enough, Explorer.exe. I hit the unlock feature and now I can delete it
What probably happened is that explorer tried to generate a thumbnail using quicktime (or whatever you use for it) and it ended up locking up.
Yes! After I unlocked it, there was a thumbnail of it
