Your room is gonna smell toxic as fuck with all that stuff in there. A joint/spliff/zoot/tokestick usually only smells for the duration it's burning as long as you dispose of the butt somewhere like out of your window, but the resin in a bowl will pong until you either clean it or put it somewhere else. Smoke hangs around on fabrics more than anything, try to smoke it near your window with the curtains drawn back. People might smell it outside if they walk past while you're smoking, so keep your head down. But yeah, fabrics are the main issue. I smoke in my flat where smoking is banned haha, the only fabric is a small rug in the middle and my camping bed, so the smell goes fast with a window open. tldr, fabrics are like the kirby of odours, bowls and joint butts pong to fuck, the smoke itself won't leave a smell if it doesn't get caught on anything.
If you can get away with smoking cigs, you can most likely get away with toking. Point the fan out the window, smoke out of a bowl and exhale through your sploof and into the fan. It will still smell in your room, but only a hint. If you're that concerned after all that, you can light some incense and be golden.
Also How can I cap the bowl so the cherry doesn't burn into the room
I was like you when I first moved into the dorms. Sploof and all. Me my stoner buddies did many experiments and configurations - the resulting "perfect" setup was this: Fan by the door blowing into the room Fan in the window - rest of open window sealed off to prevent smoke getting back in above the fan The cheap version of fabreeze That's it. I would end up leaving my bong out in my dorm room for several days at a time, with many seshes and people using it or pipes or dab rigs in my room, and it never smelled. The dual-fan action creates enough airflow to create a suction that pulls in air from under your door, eliminating the need for a towel. The airflow can be checked with a lighter. Just enjoy yourself and don't be too paranoid, the Glade air fresheners work wonders. 2-3 sprays by the door and I've had many people I trust tell me it never smells. [editline]yolo[/editline] Cig smell tends to stick around for longer than weed, but weed smells more when you smoke it, in my opinion.
My method: Towel or blanket under door, open window. Smoke near window so you can blow smoke out of it and hold the joint/bowl close to it so no smok stays in the room. Leave window open for 5-10 minutes afterwards, then you close it and take the towel out. Never smells
Just get some incense. Not only it will smell good but it will 100% cover the smell of your weed.
Close door, open window, sploof, burn incense, stop worrying
alternatively: vape/smoke concentrates however you can because it smells WAY less than weed and people who dont smoke have told me it actually smells good
I'd do window with fan, towel blocking under door, and incense or candle unless either of those are suspicious in which case I'd fabreeze. Window+fan and towel blocking under door did not cut it for me and a few people recently with a bong. Candle or incense is much more effective than fabreeze in covering the odor.
what works for me is taking really small hits in your pipe and keeping them for as long as you can. usually takes me about 40 seconds until i can exhale and not see smoke or smell anything. works like a bawzzz :DD
Yeah, instead of capping the cherry, when incognito I just pack whatever I'll take in one big hit, that way there's no cherry left to burn and I get all the smoke
When you guys make your sploofs how do you do it? Mine sort of works but like an hour after smoking basically where I smoked smells great but then just outside of that area it smells like weed, like it's just moved.
I find the biggest produced of lingering smell is usually the ashtray/ roach end. Dispose of that shit asap, get a window open, get some air freshener. Done. I've been chain smoking joints in my friends attic with his mum downstairs before and she hasn't noticed because of quick and effective cleanup habits.
