• (Windows 10) Resolution choices reduced after update

So yesterday evening Windows updates were installed while my computer was shutting down before going to bed. This morning I boot it up, let it configure Windows aaaand....my resolution is 1078x768 when yesterday it was 1680x1024. So I go in the resolution settings and I have 3 choices. 800x600 (way too small), 1078x768 (still too small) and something in the 2000sx1600s (fuck off big) I installed the latest drivers for my card (Nvidia GTX 970) and rebooted, same thing I try to fiddle with the Windows settings, nothing works ¨The only thing I haven't tried yet is to uninstall the latest Windows update What now?
Are those three options the only ones you have in the Nvidia control panel? [t]https://tenryuu.blob.core.windows.net/astrid/17-04-13_21-48-55-NVIDIA_Control_Panel.png[/t]
I haven't checked that. I mainly use the "Nvidia Experience" thingy

Well, as it turns out, I only have the same choices in the Nvidia control panel too. [editline]13th April 2017[/editline] Well, I uninstalled the graphics card's drivers again, the monitor's uninstalled the latest Windows updates, I still have those 3 choices only The only thing I can think of now is format and reinstall Windows 7 because fuck this shit.
You might wanna ask the Windows 10 thread as well. Or contact Microsoft
I found the issue. My monitor is simply not detected by Windows anymore. I plugged my GF's monitor and it works. Well, one more reason to finally change my monitor, as it is 10 years old at least.
