I have no idea how this happened, but here it goes: Usally, when I wake up and do my first day stretch, I kinda go "part blind". Im not sure if anyone else would get it, but the corners of my eyes would go black and I couldnt see. I assume this happens to everyone, but thats not what I'm here to tell you. Today, I woke up and was sitting on a chair. I got up, had a stretch, then bam, the eye thing happened. Only this time, it consumed my whole eyes, I couldnt see anything, my eyelids were open, but I was completly blind. I then felt myself fall to the floor. A few minutes later I was woken up by someone in the house, who assumed I was just playing around. Anyone know what this could possibly mean?
It could mean that you should ask your doctor and stop stretching like that for a while.
Well I've never passed out in my life probably because of my nerves of steel (:c00l:) but I think I know what you mean. Sometimes I get little "Stress moments" like when I'm about to do something very stressful my eyes tend to zone out for like 2 seconds. Maybe its your brain releasing some sort of hormone?

You have very low blood pressure and need to get it checked out, possibly start drinking coffee to increase it to get rid of the blackouts. I've also got low blood pressure but only very rarely does it make me go a bit 'fuzzy' when standing up, not every day.
You just acted too quickly, slow down when waking up and you'll be fine. -Dr. Facepunch.
You got up too quick, I get that feeling all the time, but I've not passed out from it.

Edit: How the fuck are you guys so fucking fast??!??!
Whenever I wake up and stretch my vision blacks out completely. I tought that was normal. It feels pretty interesting too. Only rarely does the blacking out result in a very light headed feeling which makes me sit down or fall on the floor.

I pass out too if it fully covers my eyes, but you can fight it back with pure willpower, that's what I do.
This exact same thing happened to me. Except I was reaching up to grab something and my side hit the counter as I fell and than my head hit the stone tile floor. The doctor said it was nothing to worry about the first time.
Thanks for the information, Guys. Ill still see a doctor, just incase.
This happened to me aswell, about a year ago. Except i was sat down for atleast 4+ hours then just jumped up to get something and simply lost control, then was awoken by my dad about 10 minutes later wondering what the fuck had happened.
First thing means your blood sugar is low(Or was it high, forgot) I get it too.
Yeah, it's kinda trippy when you haven't eaten anything for a while and you stand up quickly and everything gets all fuzzy.

I passed out when I gave blood. :downs: (Junior year in high school) They said, "Try to stay awake." I went to Psychology and fell asleep, I woke up at the end of class with the teacher, the class, and the principle standing over me saying they were trying to wake me up for the past hour. Lol.
my guess would be you rushed up to fast, not giving enough time for the blood to go up to the head.
Happen to me sometimes in the morning your blood pressures probaly a bit low nothing to be worried about really just take the adive the others have given.

Happens to me a lot, aside from the fainting. When I can operate normally even when I can't see and my head is spinning I feel manly.

I did that once, I always get that thing you're getting, if you stand up after ages lying down, you sort of go blind in a strange way, and you can't see anything. One time that happened to me and I just dropped to the floor. So yeah basically the same thing happened to me. Except it was only for a few seconds.
You can get a similar effect to what the blindness looks like by rubbing your eyes for about a minute and keeping them closed. Only way I can describe it is electronicy and shit
Low blood pressure mang.
