If I had to pick one of these, I would pick the last one, with the 5650. Also there's no poll
Also there's no poll
There is now. Had to fix the options first.
They all suck but the least shit one is the third one.
They all suck but the least shit one is the third one.
Hmm... but from what I've gathered, the Mobility Radeon graphics units sucks very hard...?
But still, out of the said three, the third one is the best.
Hmm... but from what I've gathered, the Mobility Radeon graphics units sucks very hard...?
The 5870 Mobile is like a desktop 5770, so it's not that bad.
The 5870 Mobile is like a desktop 5770, so it's not that bad.
Never knew that. What would the 5650 Mobile be like, then? [editline]05:28AM[/editline] I also figured the Mobility units was on-board graphics. They aren't, then?
Like a 4650 or 4670 or something, I dunno. Look at this: http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-5650.23697.0.html

Look at this: http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-5650.23697.0.html
According to the website:
This means the performance is sufficient for high details in nearly all DirectX 10 games (only Crysis and GTA4 are not fluently playable in high details - see gaming list below)
That's more then good enough for me! :v: I wasn't planning on running Crysis, because I know my limitations with a laptop, and I already have the 360 version of GTA IV, so there's no reason to re-buy it. [editline]05:35AM[/editline] Also, I'm not sure if that counts in a processor, but a triple-core AMD processor and 4 gigs of RAM kinda boosts the numbers of games, I assume?

Second of all, define "terrible." I've been putting up with a Packard Bell netbook the last 2 years, which is considered shit wherever I look for a review. It's keeping up, it works just like it did on day one, minus I had to send it on repair once for a broken webcam.

Personally I wouldn't get either a computer or a laptop that has an AMD CPU.
I have a 5470 on my lappy it runs TF2 at that resolution pretty well without AA. Laptops =/= Gaming as in expect your battery with any decent graphics card to loss charge after an hour.
They all suck but the least shit one is the third one.
The 5650 mobile version plays most games decently at that resolution.. And if you're on a budget, you don't need top-of-line.

[editline]01:18PM[/editline] Okay I used the site Odellus sent, and looked at the games list. My processor is not listed anywhere. It shows the following processors, with the FPS they got with the Mobility card on Medium settings in Crysis GPU Benchmark:

AMD Phenom II X4 P920 1.6GHz - 36
AMD Phenom II X3 P820 1.8GHz - 38.9
AMD Phenom II X4 N930 2GHz - 42.8
Intel Core i5 430M 2.3GHz - 44.9
Intel Core i7 720QM 1.6GHz - 45.5
It ranges between these, but my Triple core AMD never shows up. Am I still in the safe-zone, guys? [editline]01:28PM[/editline] Left4Dead only shows one processor, the i5, and it runs 132.5FPS on lowest possible settings. I plan on running maybe L4D2 on it, but that's probably the only resource-demanding game I want. Would it work?
I found a video about Computer 3, and it ran a few games (Mostly source games), on highest settings. The two games I took notice of was TF2 and Crysis Multiplayer. Both ran REALLY smooth. A comment said that TF2 normally runs at 45-60FPS on this machine. If I can lower the settings a lot, maybe drop anti-aliasing a bit too, I could get it up to 100+ or so, potentially. I am a happy man. [editline]02:37AM[/editline] Whoa, automerge broke?
Youll begood for source games on high and everything else on like medium with no AA or AF
Youll begood for source games on high and everything else on like medium with no AA or AF
Cool. I'm not a graphics-whore, either. So if I can make a game run fluid, I cont care for the graphics too much.
