Dude in the comments on PCGN added [URL="http://forums.totalwar.com/showthread.php/164869-Total-War-WARHAMMER-Dev-Blog-%E2%80%93-Chaos-Warriors-Pre-orders-and-DLC"]this link which is a response from two CA devs[/URL] about the whole kerfuffle. I don't think there was going to be anyway for CA to pull this off and not get flak for it.
