I cannot stop laughing at stupid shit. For example, the other night, the dog took a shit in my brother's room. So I tell him that he should probably clean it up. He vehemently refuses, saying that poop is a sort of phobia for him. (The rest of the story suggests otherwise.) So anyway, he argues and argues with my mom about it until finally she just decides to go in there and take care of the dog turd herself. She returns to the bathroom, turd traveling via balled-up toilet paper in my mom's hand. My brother finally realizes what she's doing, and he starts screaming, "No! Stop! Why are you doing that?!" (as she's flushing the vile thing down) "I was still thinking about cleaning it up! Fuck! SHIT. WHY?! GODDAMN! Put it back! NRRGH! GOD!"
So I start laughing my ass off as he rages over the loss of his precious turd, which only makes him angrier. At this point, I can't even breathe, I'm laughing so hard.
It just seemed like he had some sort of emotional attachment to the turd. I was surprised that such a small thing could get such a passionate response from him, like he really wanted that piece of shit to stay on his floor until he was good and ready to give it up.
So anyway, at this point, his raging has reached astronomical levels. He's screaming and stomping around, having the most epic bitchfest of his life. My mom is trying to calm him down and I'm trying to breathe through my laughing. And Candy, our yorkie, is blissfully unaware of the lulz she has caused.
But it's odd because I'm usually not this easily amused. So what's up with this? Should I embrace my weird sense of humor, or use some medication to blend in with everyone else so that I don't laugh at inappropriate times?

It's pretty normal, no need for medication as the fact is that people actually take medicine to reach your state of mind.
I was writing notes for my presentation tomorrow at school earlier and after writing for a dozen of minutes about the first subject, I went straight to the next subject, typed "Hurr.", closed the document and fell of my chair laughing.
It's not uncommon to laugh at absolutely unfunny shit if you're bored and/or tired either.
Your post also made me laugh tremendously through the night.

Nope, I laugh at the weirdest things as well. I'd been typing a sociology paper, about 12 page long when I stopped, stood up to get a drink. Came back and realised the "A" button wasn't working, making the entire essay indecipherable. I should've raged really hard, but instead I just found it hilarious and spilt OJ down myself while laughing :3:.

I wrote about how it's sometimes good to give up hobbies such as football, guitar, or breathing.
I laughed aloud in the middle of writing. I felt super cool.
